The Root Of All Evil

While we are talking about the shift to unity and love, it seems appropriate to discuss evil.

Honestly, I have avoided this topic. I don’t think I have ever even used the word “evil” on this blog. I know it opens a big can of worms, with questions like:

  • What is the cause of evil?
  • If God exists, why does God allow evil to exist?
  • How does the Law of Attraction work with the evil? Did crime victims and sick children “attract” those events?

In this article, I am using the word “evil” to mean disastrous events such as wars, crimes, diseases, poverty, and so on. And no, they are not caused by darkworkers. Sometimes things may look so, such as Hitler killing so many Jews, but that is only what it looks on the surface.

Our sense of lack

As I wrote in “Who Am I?”, we all come from the one Source. So, even today, we remember the connectedness deep inside. This is true even if you were born to an abusive family or were abandoned in childhood and never felt the connectedness as a child. Regardless of your background in this lifetime, your soul remembers the original oneness.

In this physical world, however, we appear to be separate. You think you are different from the person next to you, for better or worse. This causes great pain inside us. We yearn to feel the connectedness again.

You may not have thought of it this way, but I am sure you recognize the deep sense of lack within you. And because you didn’t know it was a spiritual yearning, you probably have tried to fill that void by getting “things”.

The things may be material things — cars, houses, jewelry, dresses. . . or money. Or it may be certain qualities — good job, good mate, fame, social status, knowledge. . .

The persistence of lack

A strange thing happened. No matter how much more things you’ve got, you still have that sense of lack. You may even have tried to reason things out with yourself, that “I have enough”, but the nagging sense of lack is still there.

In the meantime, because everyone wants “more”, we have exhausted the resources (or so it appears). This, of course, adds even more to the sense of lack. Now it’s not just spiritual yearning, it’s more “real”.

So we started to fight for the things. . .

We are all causing evil

This is why I don’t think specific people or group of people are responsible for the evil. I am just as responsible as Hitler was.

For example, there is no significant difference energetically between me getting upset in the traffic jam and someone in the government starting a war. Let’s analyze:

Me in the traffic
I want to get to the market quickly
→ I don’t have time to be sitting in this traffic jam
→ I get upset
(one more step: I need to do something to get my share — I yell or drive recklessly)

Hypothetical war situation
I (we) want more oil for our industries, to be more prosperous
→ I don’t have time to negotiate or develop other energy sources
→ I need to fight to get it.

The results of each may look staggeringly different, one resulting in a frustrated woman and another killing thousands of people of both sides of the war and devastating the land, but the underlying psychological dynamics are the same.

Is it wrong to want something?

So the root of all evil is our sense of separated-ness and resulting sense of lack. Add that the misunderstanding that this lack could be satisfied with “things”, this causes all evils.

Original state
Oneness and wholeness

In this physical world
Sense of separated-ness and lack
+
Confusing this spiritual issue as physical / psychological issue
= fighting for more

You may be thinking, “Then, is it wrong to want anything? Is all wanting greed?”

No. it’s okay to enjoy this physical world. We incarnated for a good reason. And this world is beautiful. Admire it. Just don’t be attached to it.

There is nothing wrong to want to start your business or to be with your beloved partner and family. Or even to enjoy material things. (I love my new iPod nano!)

Just know your sense of lack and separation will never be eased by all these, or even more.

If God exists, why does God allow evil to exist?

I guess this explanation answers the common question above. I don’t think God as a person-like figure (like the old man in white robe — he usually has score cards). God is the energy that has created all the manifest and unmanifest universes. Individuality and resulting differentiation are part of the nature of the physical world.

God didn’t create evil but God allows us to deal with it on our own.

God is super intelligent and loving. God watches over us, but God doesn’t babysit on us.

Okay, this is a big topic, so I will stop here and write about evil and the Law of Attraction next time. Let me know if you have any questions by leaving your comments. Thank you.

Ascension Possibilities — What Will You Choose?

August 12, 2010 by · 9 Comments

This article is the continuation of Why 2012 Ascension Does Not Matter To Most People. On the personal side, it’s also part 2 of Spiritual Development Paradox. I wish I could get the whole story channeled all in one chunk, but that seems to be too much for me. So here is what I gather at this time. . .

Ascension as the shift to the dimension of love and unity

We currently live in the three dimensional world and with the restriction of time. It’s also the world made with the illusion of separation and consequent dualism.

Pretty soon, we will experience the shift to the higher dimension of love and unity. (The true unity, of course) It’s actually starting to happen already.

What I didn’t know clearly before was EVERYONE will experience this shift. Everyone’s perception and response will be different, but it will happen to everyone. (Some, however, may choose to close themselves up shortly because this is so scary and inconvenient for them, as I will describe in a minute.)

What will the world look like with this shift? I still have a hard time visualizing the world with no time and space restrictions, so let me approach this from a different angle. . .

A glimpse of the New World

In this “New World”, we will sense others’ thoughts and feelings as if they were our own. So there will be absolutely zero room for lying.

It will be extremely hard to do anything violent or abusive. Currently we are numb to others’ feelings (at least to some extent), but what happens if you, for example, say hurtful things and immediately feel the other person’s sadness as if it were yours?

And what happens if you say something manipulative and immediately you know the other person can see your intention clearly? You’d be very uncomfortable, right?

For some people, this is a welcome shift. We are finally going to live in the world of true unity and love. We will still have individuality, but we also share so much.

For some, however, this is a nightmare. They would either have to change their way of living or go into some kind of psycho shock.

Re: spiritual development paradox

Something interesting may happen to those who think they are holier, or more advanced in spiritual development. For one, they will see others can do this telepathic communication just as well as them. Secondly, others can see their arrogance.

I hope they won’t get crushed like the self-centered people.

This is the challenge of this shift happening to everyone. So, if spiritual development means anything, it ought to be about realizing the innate divinity in us all. No one is special — or, everyone is special.

For me personally, I don’t care anymore where I am in the spiritual growth spectrum. I don’t have lifelong career of practicing yoga or other disciplines and I haven’t read all the spiritual books. On the other hand, I can do certain things not many can do, like reading the Akashic Records and clearing the blocks there, so as long as there are people who want my service, I’ll do it. If this means I am just a messenger with no credit to call my own, that’s fine. I’m honored to be a messenger.

What if

We live in subjective reality. The same event can bring out different responses from different people.

The shift of sharing thoughts and feelings is just one example of what may happen in the upcoming Ascension to the dimension of love.

Here are some more scenarios to consider. I am not saying all these things will happen soon (although I think there is a good possibility). But why don’t you spend some time imagining your response if:

  • Aliens visit us and offer the travel to their space.
  • Will you find it interesting? Or do you find all unknown beings to be scary and dangerous?
(Whew, I said it! This is something my spirit guides told me back in March when I wrote the aforementioned article on Ascension, but I couldn’t bring myself to mention back then.)

  • You get to see auras (the energy of life).
  • Again, will you find it interesting? Or will you suspect something is wrong with your eyes, believing such skill belongs to someone with years of discipline or special talent?

  • You can talk with animals and plants.
  • Not only animals and plants, you find “things” like sunlight or soil or even your kitchen table have emotions.
  • You can fly or astral travel.
  • You can heal any ailments and rejuvenate. You don’t even have to die.

All these are about living truly in unity and love.

Enlightenment

By the way, this Ascension is not about waking up from the Life Simulation Game. That is about Enlightenment. Ascension is a great shift that would help us understand there is more to life than we know, but it’s not equal to Enlightenment.

So here is a good news — The Shift to the new, higher dimension can happen to us all. And this same news could be a bad news to some. You don’t need “preparation” per se, but the way you think, feel, and live will matter.

Do you have questions about Ascension? I will see if I can check them out with my spirit guides.

New World Order: Two Routes To Unity And Peace

August 3, 2010 by · 2 Comments

There are two completely different routes to unity and peace. It is up to you to choose which, but I’d like you to understand the pros and cons of each so that you can make a conscious decision.

Now, before I explain the two routes, the two options, please answer this question:

If you are a slave, would you like to be free or would you like to find a kinder master?

You would think everyone would choose to be free, but surprisingly, if given the chance, most people would just seek a new master who seems to be better than the one they currently have. I know this because I see this every day.

Many people are in slave mentality. And rather than seeking true freedom, they are seeking to switch to a new leader or teacher, or some methods that seem to work better. They want someone to put down a set of rules to live by. This is true even for lightworkers — many lightworkers are still disempowered.

Do you see this in your own behaviors? When you face a challenge, do you seek guidance within yourself or do you rely on someone’s advice (be it your family, friend, or teacher) or some kind of “tried and true” method you read or heard? (And your friend is probably just repeating the method they have heard of.)

And why do you do that?

Your answers to these questions are critical in the realization of unity and peace…

Route One

Route One is about setting up one standard for unity and peace. People might even call this standard “justice”. On the practical level, it means someone (the authority) decides what is best for unity and peace and everyone else is required, or at least expected, to follow.

For example, child abuse is just plain wrong, right? So, people on this camp set up a standard when and how to interfere, etc. and we will all be required to follow this rule. People who don’t follow this standard protocol will be prosecuted, along with the abuser, as well as people who complain about such forceful standard.

So there will be no, or at least dramatically less, child abuse. Good, huh?

No? Which part did you not like? The prosecution? Then how about throwing away such discordant people out of the society? Still too harsh? How about giving them peer pressure by neglecting them or repeatedly teaching them the benefit of this system?

And we’ll make this educational process really fun, with music and art and inspirational speeches. As more and more people join, it will be increasingly easier to gain momentum. The media will be on this side and set up a really cool campaign for the good causes.

Pros: Quick, “practical” and effective method to deal with the existing problems such as violent crimes, poverty, hunger, war that are overwhelming us. It’s also a familiar way — after all, this is how we’ve been dealing with problems. When there is a terrorist attack, we go on war and kill the opponents while controlling the media that opposes the war effort. When there is an argument (in the family or among friends or at work, etc), we check some references to settle it.

Cons: It’s a totalitarian control no matter how we disguise it. And so it has the same intrinsic problems of the totalitarianism, such as the suffocation of individual creativity and expression.

Route Two

This is about acknowledging people’s differences and trusting that we ultimately act in a way that promotes unity and peace given the chance and loving support.

In the same example of child abuse, we will have no set rules (or bare minimum rules). So some people may ignore it in fear of being involved. Some may try to talk to the abuser. Some may even take them to support groups or counseling. There are many ways to respond.

It’s a slow process of spreading love. And yes, in the meantime, there would be innocent kids who would be left in the abusive condition. Some may even die. I sure hope the people around would be kind and courageous enough to intervene, but there is no rule.

The important ingredients of this option is spreading love BEFORE the problems arise. (The link takes you to my last year’s article about creating the new world based on Love. It has some action plans at the end, and one is about taking care of kids in the “village”.)

Pros: Voluntary unity and peace as an expression of human nature.

Cons: It’s slow. Too slow for most people. So it’s unlikely to get enough traction to be effective.

New World Order

When people talk about the “New World Order”, they are usually talking about Route One. Yes, I can see many people wanting this because, as I pointed out in the beginning, most of us are still in the slave mentality and would be happier with a (seemingly) better master, rather than working to be free.

Because it’s easier to follow a set of rules. Relying on inner authority and taking the responsibility to be free is totally new to most people, and new means scary.

Again, I think many lightworkers would be on this camp. These “good-hearted” people would love the idea of quick solution to the many problems we have in this world. Many would truly believe in the ideal of the “One World”. They would not see the ultimate consequences of their choices.

I wrote the New World series as my antithesis to this NWO idea, but the Route One people would accuse people like myself as being discordant.

In the worst case scenario, there may be a new type of witch-hunting. This time, it may be called terrorist-hunting or dangerous-thought hunting. Ironically, this hunting would wake up some of the lightworkers who have agreed with Route One. “Hey, I thought this was a sure way to bring peace, but the authority is accusing those people just because they don’t think and act in our way? Is this right??”

What is your choice?

The last thing I want to do is to tell you which option is “right”. I personally like Route Two, but that is just me.

Now if you do want to choose Route Two, the next question is: Are you empowering yourself NOW? It’s not a decision you make in the future. It’s about choosing to be free now rather than seeking another master and hoping they would be nicer than the ones you know.
