Yin Yang For Balanced Health
June 5, 2010 by Akemi · 19 Comments

I studied traditional Chinese medicine and do-in (ancient form of qi gong) a little when I was back in Japan. The whole idea is based on their philosophy of yin yang and the five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water.
The yin yang is still a foreign idea for many Americans. I think the idea can help develop our understanding of non-polarity, so in this article, I will explain it in a way that relates to everyone — foods. (Photo credit)
Yin yang basics
Yin is the energy that loosens up, the energy of the moon and female, that is soft, moist, and cooling. Yang is the energy that tightens up, the energy of the sun and male, that is hard, dry, and warming.
Yang is the potential of things and it moves around seeking manifestation (yin). Yin attracts and pulls in the yang energy, manifesting the potential. Men may have the seeds, but it’s the women who conceive and give birth to new lives
Yin Yang and health
Men inherently have more yang energy than women. Women, with more inherent yin energy, tend to get stuck in yin, which may manifest as overweight problem, coldness (especially in lower abdomen and feet) and depression. Men, on the other hand, tend to “burn up”, which may manifest as boldness, hyper tension, and difficulty in anger management.
We tend to lose life energy as we age, especially yang energy. So men start to have more yin related issues around their 40s, while women get stuck even deeper in their yin issues.
Of course, there are individual variations. Some men are heavy on yang. Think of the red faced mascot outside the bar. With that much of yang, he craves to be cooled down with beer. But some men are more balanced. Similarly, some women are very yin. They have so much manifestation energy they hardly “do” anything. (Kind of a modern “witch”, I guess.)
The yin yang in a person changes depending on the seasons, their life situations, and . . . their foods.
(Also, there seems to be differences between the races, too. This is not something ancient Chinese figured out — they never met white nor black people. But I really think Asians tend to be more yin. Black people are very yang. The question is white people — thinking of their fair coloring, you would think they are yin, but I find many white people to be quite yang.)
Yin yang is not the opposite
At first glance, yin yang appears to be yet another pair of polarities. But it is best understood to be two directions on one spectrum. There are very few 100% yin nor 100% yang. The ancient Chinese sage says, “The full moon is the beginning of the waning of the moon, and the new moon has the potential of waxing to be the full moon. Likewise, there is yang in yin and yin in yang.” The tai chi symbol visually shows this concept.
My friend Lisa, the Mommy Mystic, wrote an excellent article that there are no opposites. Everything is on the spectrum and is various aspect of one unity.
Yin Yang food
So when we apply the yin yang philosophy to healthy eating, we want to seek balance of the yin yang. Not that any food on the spectrum is bad. We want to assess our own yin yang status and choose foods that balance us.
There are yin yang food list on the internet, but I think it’s better to understand the principles so that you can apply them to any foods, that may not be on the list.
More Yin
Produce that comes from the tropical and sub-tropical regions are yin. This includes bananas, mangos, papayas, pineapples, coconuts and avocados. Also sugar (sugar cane), chocolate (cacao) and coffee.
Produce that grows in the summer sun are yin. This includes many “fruit” vegetables such as tomatoes, melons, cucumbers, eggplants.
Icy cold foods are high yin.
More yang
Most animal foods are yang, especially red meat. Exceptions are shell fish such as crabs and shrimps.
Produce that grows in the ground are yang. This includes root vegetables such as carrots, beets, turnips, radishes, parsnips, potatoes, and sweet potatoes.
Cooking heat increases yang. So does sun drying.
Spices increases yang. Spicy produce such as ginger roots, onions, and peppers are very yang.
Salt decreases yin by pulling out the foods’ water. (Himalayan salt, the ancient sea salt that has been “heated” by the earth is very yang.)
Also, lighter color fools are more yin. For example, white daikon radish is more yin even though they grow in the ground. Poultry is more yin than red meat, making them neutral. Milk is white but when they are cultured to be yellowish cheese (naturally, of course), they become more yang. Tofu is very yin. Tempe is more yang.
Greens are neutral (slightly yin). Most grains are neutral.
Raw food diet problems and yin yang
I started to eat high raw vegetarian early last year. I did fine in spring and summer, when the yang energy was abundant in the atmosphere. Things got difficult in fall, however. I felt unstable. On some days, I just felt weak. With the many rainy days in the Northwest, I felt depressed.
Too much yin!
I think this is the major issue with raw food diet. It tends to be very yin. It works wonders to people who are high yang, but not to everyone all the time, I guess.
So this year, I am decreasing my raw rate, eating more cooked grains, beans, and root vegetables.
More about how I am applying yin yang to my healthy eating
Also, I am incorporating more local produce. I choose berries, apples, and pears over tropical fruits. (It doesn’t mean I will never eat a banana. It’s about balance.)
I am also considering to get dark maple syrup as the primary sweetener. It’s definitely more yang than sugar and agave (another tropical plants). Or maybe inulin from chicory root works as a sweetener. (Note: Inulin is a highly refined product, so you wouldn’t want to take too much amount of it.)
When the summer sun comes out, I might dry some vegs on the deck. This might make wonderful preserved foods for the winter.
And, it’s not about eating, but I am very mindful to get out to have some sunshine. The sun is the ultimate yang. (For those of you suffering with too much yang, you might want to cool down by semi burying yourself in the cool soil, or at least sitting or lying on the ground. The Mother Earth is yin.)
Does this yin yang info help you? Do you have any questions?
Creating The New World, Part 1 Love
April 2, 2009 by Akemi · 21 Comments

Do you create your life freely or do you live within the limits of the existing system? Do you realize you have the power to change the system, and eventually the whole world, when you make a change that is not limited by the existing system?
I want to dream big and write about how we can create the New World based on the foundation of love, light, truth, abundance and power. Because big dreams inspire us and provide us the essential direction of our lives. How can we make the decision of which road to take when we don’t know the big picture and the overall direction?
Plus Ascension provides us the rare opportunity to change. We live in a special time when significant change is possible.
What love is not
First we need to know what love is. And few words have been abused as badly as the word love.
1. You don’t know what love is if you think unconditional love is special.
If you think there is unconditional love, which is a better kind than other kinds of love, let me ask you: What is love that is not unconditional? What is conditional love?
- I love you if you (lose 10 lb, quit complaining, help me more around the house, etc.)
- If you love me, you would (stop drinking, work harder, etc.)
These are just forms of manipulation, in the name of love. I know most of us have been conditioned with this from childhood, but let’s make it clear this has nothing to do with love.
2. You don’t know what love is if you sacrifice yourself in the name of love.
Love starts with self love. There is just no way to love others while ignoring your own worthiness or letting yourself abused. And if you think self love conflicts with love for others, look around carefully. Love gets stronger with more love. Conflict is an illusion made from the fear of scarcity.
3. You don’t know what love is if you think love is about holding hands and not saying anything uncomfortable.
Uncomfortable to whom? To that person or yourself? You may say you don’t say certain things because you care about that person’s feelings. Well, I care about people’s feelings, too, but I also know that, when someone think in this line, they are usually hiding the truth, and the truth is they don’t say it because it makes themselves uncomfortable.
We sure don’t need to offend people’s feelings unnecessarily. But hiding the truth under the name of love is very unloving.
Loving darkworkers
The last point leads to the issue of darkworkers. It sounds nicer to say that there is no such thing like darkworkers and we are all good loving souls, hug one another, and ignore the energy sucking dramas some of us are acting out. But is it true? And is it helpful even to the darkworkers themselves?
It’s helpful for darkworkers to continue their way, yes. If they are to come back to Light, however, they get the best chance when people around them set up a clear boundary so that the darkworkers cannot get any energy from them. Tough love, sure, but what is the point of covering up their acts?
This is not about fixing them. Let them be who they are but put your self-love in place. Awareness of what is really going on, factually and energetically, is the start of love.
Then what is love?
My definition is love is the awareness that we are valuable for our individual uniqueness and yet we are all part of the whole. I love you for who you are. No need to change unless you yourself wish to change. And together we make a union that is more than the sum.
We are like parts of one body. The kidney is valuable for its unique function, and so is the heart. The heart doesn’t put down the kidney because it deals with urine. Our respective uniqueness is our strength — we don’t need kidney to become more like the heart.
Sometimes, a part of the body starts doing strange things. It starts to suck up energy from the surrounding area, making the area difficult to function fully. We don’t need to hate this part of the body, but we do want to focus on our ability to function fully and give our attention to the working parts, not the malfunctioning parts. This is how we “love” darkworkers.
But what about romantic love and relationship?
I think romantic relationship and family unions in the New World will be very different. I’m not against the idea of romantic love — it’s a beautiful form of love — but I do think the consequent idea of romantic relationship and the institution of marriage are abused badly.
Think for a moment. If the New World operates on the foundation of love:
- Do you need someone to assure your worthiness by being with you?
Of course you don’t. You already love yourself as you are. - Do you need someone to promise to be with you for the rest of your life?
You don’t need to force love and security in such a way. Relationship is best when it is based on free will, at any given time. And forced love is not love, whether it is forced by yourself or by others. - Do you need to form a secure haven called family?
If the outside world is a savage cruel place, it makes sense to build a safe small haven, and this has been one of the major function of family. But if the New World is all about love, where is the danger?
So what is the role of romantic relationship and marriage in the New World? While we operate on the big love, it’s also good to form close connections so that we can get to know each other better and we can share ourselves readily. Romantic relationships can be one of those relationships, along with others like friendships.
We’ll loosen up a big time in forming and maintaining romantic relationships. You may have just one partner or multiple of them at any given time in your life. Your living arrangement can be flexible, too, beyond the traditional form of living with your family. If you enjoy being close to others, you may choose to live in something like a co-op that is formed on the basis of shared interest (say, similar eating or exercise habits, or artist co-op that shares studio space, etc). If you like traveling, you can do so. Or you may like solitary living arrangement. Whatever you choose, you are accepted and loved.
Sexuality in the New World
Romantic relationship and marriage are considered to be the only “correct” forms of sexual relationship at this time. So when we loosen up our idea of relationship, what happens? Do we become promiscuous?
First, it’s important to realize that your sexuality is yours. It’s not your partner’s nor of some authority in government or religion. You decide the when, with whom, how. This is especially important for women. Do not let the conventional “you are either a madonna or a whore” idea limit you.
Next let’s admit we get into the act for many reasons other than love and pleasure. Have you had sex with hidden agenda like:
- To prove you are (attractive, strong, worthy of attention, etc.)?
- To control your partner (to keep them to you, to get them do something, etc.)?
- To distract yourself (from boredom, loneliness, frustration at work, etc.)?
All these conditions will be worked out when we operate on the foundation of love. So sex with hidden agenda will go away.
Contrary to the promiscuous sex-overloaded society that some people may have thought when I said “New World based on love”, I think we may have a lot less sex in the New World. When you realize you are free to choose the type of sexual relationship, and you don’t need to bring in hidden agenda — when you choose to have sex just because you feel like it or to share some fun and pleasure with your partner — I think the demand would naturally decrease. Of course, it’s also quite fine if you are into providing joy big time.
How to bring in the New World
First, I want to emphasize it is totally counterproductive to think of the New World as how things SHOULD be. The should mentality, the expectation, automatically put it off to some unknown place in time and space. The time to start the New World is NOW.
Here are some things you can do today to bring in the New World:
1. Forgive yourself and others so that you can start anew. Forgiveness is a form of self love.
2. Live in gratitude. Gratitude is an expression of love. Don’t discuss how important gratitude is; say thank you to your loved ones, to things around you, to nature, to life.
3. Talk about the new way of life with your loved ones — your relationship partner, family, and friends. Embracing the possibility is the first step of actually living it.
4. Allow more and more love in your life. Do you do what you love to do? Do you talk to yourself with kindness even when things turn difficult? Do you spend time with people you really like? Do you express your love in a simple, straight-forward way without fear?
5. For each person you interact with, find some unique gifts they have and tell them how much you appreciate them. We can use a lot of assistance in realizing our beautiful qualities in us.
The “gift” doesn’t have to be some holy, noble, rare quality. For instance, a pretty smile is something we can treasure. (Do you realize how so many people, both men and women, would be delighted to hear how cute they are?)
6. Think more ways to cooperate rather than compete. If you are in business, are there ways you can work with others in the same or related fields that would benefit all involved? If you are studying something, can you also teach each other? Competition is based on scarcity and fear. Cooperation brings in more love and abundance.
7. Try something new. This requires self love and assurance, and in tern reinforces the same. And you will meet more people to love, learn more things to love.
8. Are there people in your neighborhood who would benefit from extra attention and care, such as older people, single parent with small children, etc? Why not strike up a casual conversation and let them know you are happy to help when they need something? You might be delighted to find how something small and easy to do for you can be appreciated so much. Offer your love and kindness freely.
Kids really belong to the “village” and we all want to be looking over them. Your community being safe and operating on love will expand to larger community.
9. When you go shopping, talk with the cashier. Treat the storekeepers like real people. Eventually, get to know them as your friend. Same with the bus drivers, the librarians, the customer service reps who answer your 800 calls, etc.
10. If you are in abusive relationship, whether it is romantic relationship or family situation or work related, please have the courage to leave. You are doing a disservice not just to yourself but to the whole by staying there. First, stop participating in their drama. This will likely make them more abusive in their attempt to get your energy, which will prompt you to leave finally.
11. Again, offer your loving words and actions freely. Let go of your agenda. Let’s talk, hug, kiss, and make love with no expectations but just because. Also, feel free to say no.
Love and the fifth dimension
Some people say the fifth dimension is love. I thought about this — length, width, height, time and . . . love?
What I think is there is no polarity in the fifth dimension. Everything is in alignment, and we call this love. In a sense, polarities have helped us learn our life lessons by providing contrast. But as we progress in Ascension and graduate from the school of life, we don’t need polarity any longer. We can just be. This is the ultimate destination we want to take our New World.
Does this mean we are going back to the original utopia like I described in that article? Not quite. I don’t think nature repeats exactly the same way. In the New World, we will be living in love similar to the original utopia but in a more conscious way.
Do you have more ideas to bring in the New World of love? What do you think of my vision of the New World? Let me know by leaving your comment ^_^ (Photo by carf)
The Law Of Attraction: How To Use It To Your Favor
March 13, 2009 by Akemi · 32 Comments

The Law of Attraction has been attacked by many, including many personal development bloggers. It looks to me that the easiest way to prove you are “smart” is to disagree with the Law of Attraction. If that is what you want, you probably don’t need this article. If you want to improve your life effortlessly, please read on. (Photo by Trader Doc)
Misunderstanding the Law of Attraction
To understand misunderstanding, we first need to define the Law of Attraction. For now, we will say “Like energy attracts like energy.” We will explore the deeper meaning of this law later.
There are a lot of misunderstanding going around about the Law of Attraction, discouraging people to use it to their favor.
1. Magnets don’t attract the same, they attracts the opposites. So the theory of Law of Attraction is flawed.
One end of a magnet attracts the opposite end of another magnet so that as a whole, the magnetic energy flows through in one way. Magnets attract magnets, not woods. It is indeed attracting the like energy.
2. The Law of Attraction is not a law because it is not proven. Plus the whole quantum physics stuff is BS.
Did the law of gravity become the law when Newton theorized it? Or was it working from the beginning of time?
Regarding the quantum physics – what I gather from Greatness Without Genies: The Law of Attraction for Realists is that this area of physics is still in debate and neither proven nor defeated. We just don’t know if the quantum physics is real, and if so, to what level of existence it applies, nor how it is related to the Law of Attraction. So let’s give it a benefit of doubt. (By the way, this eBook is an interesting read if you disliked the Secret. Especially if you disliked the Secret but still feel the pull of the Law of Attraction
)
3. The Law of Attraction doesn’t work because I couldn’t attract what I wanted.
Ah, but did you use it properly? For example, if you wanted to be financially well, did you focus on abundance or did you focus on you being broke? If it’s the latter, the Law of Attraction worked perfectly – you got more broke. I feel for you, but don’t use your failure as a proof of the Law of Attraction not working. It’s a case of operator error.
The final point leads to the point of how to use the Law of Attraction correctly.
Is it the thoughts or the feelings that attract?
Many Law of Attraction books tell you that your thoughts attract the very thing you think about, that thoughts become things. Well, kind of.
Are you aware there are two kinds of thoughts?
- Logical thoughts (or non-ego thoughts)
- Ego thoughts
Typical example of logical thoughts is when you think about math. How do you know the total sum of all inner angles of a triangle is 180 degrees? There are several ways to prove this.
While you are thinking about triangles, parallel lines, or vector, you are thinking hard, but you don’t attract more triangles. Because your feeling is neutral. (I’m talking about pure mathematical thoughts, not your fear of failing the math test.)
On the other hand, we spend a lot of time and energy doing ego thoughts. What will the economy be like? Will I be able to keep my job? Will I have to take a paycut? Will I be able to afford the vacation this year? And if I can’t, what would my friends think about me? OMG, and . . .
Ego thoughts use tons of emotional energy. And it’s usually negative thoughts based on fear. And bam, don’t you know you get a layoff when you spend sufficient time and energy thinking this way?
The energy of emotions
When the Law of Attraction teachers say you attract the things you think about, they are talking about thoughts, or images, that are supported by plenty of feelings, the energy of emotions. Thoughts are energies as well, but compared to the energies of emotions, thought energy alone is pretty small.
In order to use the Law of Attraction to your favor, you need to think in a way that causes you lots of positive feelings. You can do this in both kinds of thinking. One, you can manipulate your own ego thoughts to aim the things you want, rather than the things you don’t want. For example, tons of money. This way you can stimulate your greed and cause “positive” feelings of joy and excitement of having it.
This approach works, and some people have become quite good at it. However, I don’t recommend it. Because it can whack your sense of peace and harmony. When you base your joy on greed, you need more and more things to satisfy your greed, and the state of just being happy with what you have become further and further away. To me, this sounds like hell than heaven. Having more and more, but never really satisfied.
So the better approach is to use your logical thinking and add feelings. For the same objective to attract money, you think of money and what money can buy in that logical neutral way, for yourself and others, and then be inspired to have positive feelings such as joy and gratitude.
Better. But isn’t there an even better way to utilize the energy of emotions?
The problem of thought-based feelings
There are two kinds of feelings:
- Feelings that are caused by specific thoughts
- Feelings that come from your core, unrelated to specific thoughts you may be having
We are familiar with the first kind of feelings, and this is also what the Law of Attraction advocates teach us to utilize. They teach us to use emotions as a guide of your thoughts. Thoughts on what you desire cause positive feelings. Thoughts on what you don’t desire cause negative feelings. Watch your feelings to monitor your thoughts.
When you do this, you notice your feelings are very unstable. Having and not having something is like the sides of a coin and it can flip so easily. One moment you are feeling great thinking about getting a raise – you are inflated in your emotions – the next moment, the thought of missing the raise crosses your mind and you are deflated miserably. Up and down, up and down. It takes lots of discipline to manage this process and disallow negative ideas to enter your mind.
And this is the biggest challenge those who try to use the Law of Attraction face even when they so believe in it. They mix up thoughts and feelings, and the positive and negative energies negate each other. Results: no clear results.
You’ve seen these people, or maybe you are one of them. Are you afraid of thinking negative thoughts? To the point you are afraid of using “bad words” like debt or loss? When you try to direct your thoughts to “good” things you desire, you know (oh, damn you know!) there is a flip side. The bigger your desire, the bigger your fear of not having it.
And if you are so afraid, of course, that is what you attract: More fear and more situations that cause you fear.
Enough about playing between the polarities.
Emotions without thoughts
You don’t need thoughts to have feelings.
When I wake up after a good night sleep, I feel wonderful. I’m full of excitement and gratitude for the new day. It’s not about being excited about specific things I plan to do. These days, I hardly have any plans. I have a natural routine and maybe I have some phone sessions scheduled, but my good feeling is not about these things. It’s about being alive and another beautiful day. Little me having another day!
When I sip coffee watching the trees and coffee, I feel wonderful. I’m filled with joy, wonderment, and contentment. I’m not thinking about anything particular – I just like relaxing with coffee and looking at trees.
And what is this good feeling doing in my life?
My life is pretty good. My business is growing, I have great friends, and I’m healthy. Hmm. I guess I could be happier with a boyfriend. But then, there are hardly times I feel lonely. So maybe I’m doing just fine.
So the most effective way to utilize the Law of Attraction, that is also the most effortless, is:
Cultivate the good feeling that comes from being yourself
Aaaagh, so simple. . .
The fundamental good feelings of life in the Law of Attraction
You may think it’s difficult to cultivate this fundamental good feelings about life and yourself. However, once you have it, it’s pretty solid. It’s not based on external conditions. You realize that you are loved and supported in all ways, that you are special and valuable, and that the universe is a wonderful and friendly place to live and play.
From there, you live your life, and of course, you think.
So I live in good feelings majority of the time. Then I occasionally think – let’s say thinking about my business. Perhaps the most frequent thought is “Well, I enjoy doing the reading and clearing, and I know this is the foundation of my service, but this new coaching is so much fun I want to put more focus on this. And I’d like to free up some time to do more writing, too.” My business is developing exactly this way.
So thoughts have their place in the Law of Attraction. But not necessarily a big place. The majority of the energy is based on emotions, and thoughts only give directions to the energy. And again, the easiest and surest way to have lots of good feelings is to base the feelings on who you are, not on external situations or your thoughts.
Cultivate the good feeling that comes from being yourself. Then think some to direct the energy.
Where does action fit in the picture?
There are people who say something in the line of, “The Law of Attraction works because it promotes positive thinking that motivates people to take actions. It’s not a spiritual law, and there is no mystery to it. Now go do your work.”
And what kind of action are we talking about? Actions that come naturally that you hardly think you are making “efforts” or actions that you toil and loathe?
The latter has indeed nothing to do with the Law of Attraction. Do action A to cause result B. Use whatever motivation to get to action, including positive thinking or “psyching up”. Or a whip. I mean, it’s the action that causes the result. Motivation is not directly related to the result.
The kind of action we want to be aware of in using the Law of Attraction is the first kind.
Beings is not about sitting on a stone and doing nothing. Being involves doing things you like and doing things that interest you. Watch small kids. Being kids, they are almost always moving and doing things. Jumping on the couch. Swirling around the chair. Running outside. And when they find something interesting, they just go ahead and explore it.
The action that matter in the Law of Attraction may be doing the things that you so love to do always or taking special inspired action. Or it may take no action.
Manifestations without action
You’ve never seen people attracting great life without no particular action?
My former hairdresser in Tennessee more than doubled her clients list overnight doing nothing. She was leasing a booth in a small hair salon. The owner was the other hairdresser and his wife. They wanted a baby for a long time and finally decided to adopt one. They were delighted to have a beautiful baby girl. So happy to the point that first, the wife decided to stay at home full time. So she split her customers to her husband and my hairdresser. After a few months, and the baby growing ever so charming, the husband also decided to stay home. They figured they could live on rent income alone for awhile. So my hairdresser got his client list.
What did she do? Just being a happy great hairdresser. I always enjoyed visiting her salon because not only was she good at haircut but she was so fun to talk with.
Another example. I know a retired school teacher who travels the world, going to some of the most secret spots. No, she doesn’t have the money. She got acquainted to a wealthy widow who loved to travel. She asked my friend to accompany her because traveling alone is no fun. The widow pays for everything. My friend just carries her pocket money. And both are happy.
What did she do? I have no idea. Being a teacher, I guess she has the basic interpersonal skills. And she has time and willingness to travel. The last time I talked with her, they were planning to visit Galapagos.
Summary: How to use the Law of Attraction to your favor
- Cultivate the good feeling that comes from being yourself.
This is the first and paramount step. The rest may or may not be necessary. - Think some to direct the energy.
- Live your life doing what you love and what you are inspired to do.
You don’t have to think specific thoughts to use the Law of Attraction. What you ultimately want to manifest is the good feelings, to feel even better in the coming reality you are creating, and you can just feel your way with our without specific thoughts.
When you do think, think it clearly but not necessarily specifically. Attachment to specifics is about your ego. Envision the new reality you are creating and know it is there. It’s almost like taking it for granted, but with gratitude for it. (Some people call this believing. I don’t personally like the word believing because it implies there is a discrepancy between what you believe and what it is.)
Ego thoughts have little to do with this process. As I wrote, our ego is brings in mostly fear, which is counterproductive in using the Law of Attraction to your favor. Our ego also makes judgments and try to dictate the process and outcome of manifestation, which is again counterproductive. Your ego only knows what you have experienced or heard so far, and it badly limits the boundless possibilities.
And with Ascension process going on, we are dropping the ego anyway.
Our power to create
That is the how. Now the why. Why does the Law of Attraction work? I’ve seen many arguments why it doesn’t work, but not arguments why it does indeed work.
Because we are God. Some express the same saying we are children of God, or we are connected to the Source energy. Really the same thing. If we are children of God, we are growing up to be God. If we are connected to the Source, we have the same energy the Source has. And just like God created the universe, we can create our lives. Smaller scale, but the same working of the energy.
I know it’s hard to accept we are God. If it’s easy, we have absolutely no problem using the Law of Attraction. Our awareness hasn’t grown up to that level yet, so at this time, it’s easier to think that something outside of us, be it genie, the universe, or God, would give us what we want.
However, I want to point out that the more we realize our own divine power to create, the better the Law of Attraction works. If your mindset is like “If I beg, God or genie may give me what I want.”, you are disempowering yourself. So while it’s okay to believe in external power sources, please do start raising your awareness of your own creative power.
“The Law of Attraction” is a somewhat misleading term. It is called so because on the energetic level, like energies attract like energies. It is NOT about the object of your desire getting attracted and coming closer and closer to you. Nothing is really outside of you. You are creating your reality. The Law of Attraction is really the way we create.
