Demystifying Starseeds, Walk-Ins And Lightworkers

Lightworkers, starseeds, walk-ins — these terms are used too vaguely. Let me explain my understanding about these concepts as THE Akashic Record Reader :)  (Photo credit)

Starseeds Definition

Souls can be categorized into two groups depending on their origin: souls that started right from this planet Earth and souls that have been to other star system(s) prior to coming to Earth. I call each Earth souls and starseed souls.

This is a soul level issue. Being starseed does NOT mean an alien came down and impregnated your mother. On the physical level, you are the product of your biological parents. On the soul level, you have your own history.

Obviously, “starseeds” is a catch-all term. Depending on which star system the soul has been, we can further divide starseeds into specific groups (sometimes called soul families). This is what my Starseeds seres is about. So far, I’ve written about:

I plan to write about the other starseed groups including (I will add the links when I post the articles):

I’ve heard about other starseeds such as those from Mars, Maldec (the ancient planet that was located where the asteroids are currently), Vega, and Andromeda, but I have not seen them in my Akashic Record Reading practice, so at this time, I choose not to discuss them.

Also it is possible that a soul has visited two stars before coming to Earth. Usually, one of the two shows as the predominant influence on the soul. Depending on the order of the stay, I call these secondary originations underlay and overtone. For instance, my main identity is Blueprinter and my underlay is Mission Realmer. While my Blueprinter characteristics are quite pronounced, you probably wouldn’t see my Mission Realmer side until you get to see how I live on the day-to-day basis.

It is also possible, at least theoretically, to have three or more stars in your history, but I have never seen them.

Walk-ins Definition

Walk-in is a one time soul shift, as opposed to ongoing back-and-forth soul shift. Because you are your soul, in the physical form, once the walk in happens, you are the new soul. Don’t think you “lost” your true soul or someone is taking over you. You are your current soul. I know this concept is disturbing to some people, but this is how it is.

As I wrote in that linked article, there are many types of walk-ins, or one time soul shift. All can be about starseed or Earth soul.

For instance, a person may have had the Pleiadian soul until the Pleiadian exodus happened about ten years ago. When the Pleiadian soul left, another soul volunteered to switch in — without soul, the body is dead, and it’s such a waste to let a good body die.

The new soul may be an Earth soul or another kind of starseed soul, say, a Sirian soul. So this is the walk-in. The person would exhibit personality change quite abruptly. (And a big clear change in this example because Pleiadians are very characteristic souls.)

A notable case of walk-in is the Ascension soul shift. This is when the new updated version of the soul from the same Higher Self (or oversoul) walks in. The new soul vibrates in the higher dimension.

While other types of walk-ins can happen at any age, including childhood, Ascension soul shift seems to be the exception in that it usually happen only to adults. The youngest client who’s had Ascension soul shift was around eighteen years old. Most clients who goes through Ascension soul shifts seem to be well in their adulthood.

Lightworkers Definition

Lightworkers are souls that are evolving toward the Source, the Source of loving light energy of life. Most Earth souls and the aforementioned starseed souls are lightworker souls.

It’s a confusing term because it implies it’s about work. “Light being” or “positively evolving souls” would be a lot better term.

The opposite of lightworkers are the darkworkers, souls that have chosen to go away from the Source. I’m a bit annoyed to discuss darkworkers because some people are so afraid of even talking about them and think just talking about darkworkers make one a darkworker. I received some harassment emails after writing that post that says, “Akemi, you are going dark yourself”.

Geesh. I would rather die than joining the dark forces. Seriously. I know, as Akashic Record Reader, death is a lot easier to recover from than getting tied with dark forces.

Darkworkers are quite dumb about their decision to go against the Source. Because, if they are going against the only authentic source of life energy, how can they get their supply of life energy? They usually steal energy from the people around them. They have to sneak around or even disguise their own sense of self to get this done.

Some people define lightworkers as those who have taken up to work for the light, people who does lightworks such as healing and charity work. As Akashic Record Reader, I simply cannot agree with this definition, although I understand people want outwardly sign to tell if someone is a lightworker or not.

Through my Akashic Record Reading practice, I became aware quite a few darkworkers take these lightworker jobs. If you think about it, it makes sense. Who comes to healing service? Souls who are disturbed and distressed, and therefore unguarded. By being a healer, a darkworker gets a constant inflow of clients who are susceptible. They can fix some energy flow or give some nutritional advice, then take some energy from the clients.

This doesn’t mean all healers or others who are in lightworker jobs are darkworkers. No way. I like to think most of them are indeed lightworkers. It does mean, however, that we need to pay attention to the actual energy flow, not the job title and other labels, to understand who the person is.

    Hi Akemi

Wonderful post! I am always intrigued when you talk more about star seeds, and you made a good definition of light and dark workers too.

Thank you for this, because I have seen many people use the title “light worker” and they said they got some training in it. A part of me wanted to be a light worker too, but the other part of me thought, that should come from within, not because someone gave me a certificate that says so.

Very interesting about the dark workers too – I would think that if we stay conscious we will be able to see through these souls. I know I totally agree with you saying that there are some dark workers in the light worker jobs. One example I can think of is since the boom of the “Secret” movie – so many people claim to have that piece of advice, that product that will make you a millionaire too. Seems to me the underlying thought to many of these is still greed, which does not promote a being of light.

The scientist Tom Campbell talked about negative entities too and he explained it just like you did – they feed off the energy of others. He like you said this is in a way “dumb” – because it is a very limited path of growth, where as growing towards or with the light is infinite.

But anyway – great post again, and surprisingly I don’t have any questions…for now :)

    Hi Evita,

    Great points!
The terms like starseeds and lightworkers got too watered down. In a sense, it was hard to stop that process — most people are still looking at outwardly signs or “certificates” or titles. They don’t quite understand energy.

Greed is a biggie in the law of attraction. Someone can certainly attract a lot with greed, but when you attract with greed, there will be a time you have to pay off. Because greed is a value based on duality. You either have it or not have it, and you favor one over the other. Whereas true abundance is not about duality. It just is.

Hey, I feel good Tom Campbell is on my camp. Doesn’t that supposed to give me a sense of validation?

Akemi – thanks for this, I appreciated your discussion of lightworkers and darkworkers especially. I’m not surprised about the response you got when writing about this before, there is a lot of fear and denial it seems, about the darker forces in the world. And maybe not everyone can touch those topics without getting pulled into them, I don’t know. But someone has to, right? And you certainly can.
Personally, I could definitely relate to the discussion of energy thieves in lightworker jobs. I visited an energy healer that was recommended to me once several times, and finally realized that I never felt better afterwards. At first I thought it was me ‘detoxing’ after the energy work she did, but I finally realized that wasn’t it. I am now very, very cautious about who I let touch me.
But in that case I wouldn’t necessarily call her a darkworker. I guess I tend to reserve that term for someone who is really working to bring the direction of the entire world down – to disempower on a grand scale. I feel like we all probably make mistakes and go through phases where we make ‘dark’ mistakes, steal energy, etc., and that doesn’t necessarily make us darkworkers. Am I being naive?

Hi Akemi – I’m finding it interesting reading about your work. I think anything that helps people get in touch with their purpose in life is great – as you know, I am happy with the understandings I have gained from astrology, and don’t really want to embark on new in-depth explorations just now.

All the best, and I look forward to reading about my group. – R

    Lisa,

I don’t think you are naive at all. This is an issue of terminology and definition. The way you define “darkworker” is what I might call a hardcore darkworker, who is not just going against the flow as an individual but who try to change the overall flow of humanity.

So there are souls de-evolving, among them, there are ones who try to disturb the overall flow of human evolution and ones who are just going against the flow and causing problems around them. Likewise, there are lightworkers, and among them, there are ones who are committed to make contributions to the humanity and ones who are indeed evolving toward light but not making much move.

Hope this makes sense. Glad to hear you trust your intuition.

    David,

Glad you like the starseed series. I will work on the rest of the series, in that order, I think.

    Robin,

I’d say whatever modality helps, that’s good, right? Astrology has an advantage — it’s easy to find one’s sign, so at least in the beginning, there is low barrier to gain understanding. I know there is a lot more to astrology than the sun signs, but it’s a start. Whereas finding one’s starseed group takes special skill to look into the Akashic Records.

  7. Earth Mother – In The Raw on October 28th, 2009 1:07 pm

The first time I heard the term “starseed” was back in 1980, when I picked up a lovely book channeled by a Missouri farmer. If you haven’t yet read The Starseed Transmissions by Ken Carey, I’d highly recommend you do. In fact, he has a number of books you’d enjoy. “Starseed” is considered the first of a trilogy.

I’ve met two Walk-ins, both of whom are very conscious of when the soul shift occurred and why. Interestingly, both were experiencing a very “dark night of the soul” at the time and had lost their will to live.

Both have fascinating stories, but the one that really intrigued me was a young mother who had recently lost her own mother. Grieving terribly (and most likely suffering from post-partum depression as well), she chose to exit and the new soul walked in. The fascinating piece (for me) is that her little girl was completely aware of the shift. In fact, she referred to them as Mommy 1 and Mommy 2. She would even draw me pictures of Mommy 1 who she still had regular visits with in her dreams. Wild, huh?

  8. akemi on October 28th, 2009 5:19 pm

    Earth mother,

Funny you say that because I just got my copy of The Starseed Transmission. It does look very interesting.
I love that little girl who can tell the difference of mom 1 and 2. These days, kids do that. . . some clearly remember their past lives, some has extraordinary clairvoyance, etc.

  9. Eleanor Greil on November 11th, 2009 3:34 pm

    Hi Akemi,
have you ever come across a soul that is part from earth and part of angelic origin?
    Why would that happen?

  10. akemi on November 12th, 2009 11:12 am

    Eleanor,

When there are two (or possible more) star backgrounds, it’s NOT like part of a soul comes from one star and the rest comes from another.
If a soul incarnates in star A, grows up there, and goes to star B before coming to Earth, his or her main identity is that of star A, with star B as overtone.
    Hope this makes sense.

This is an old article but I will comment on it :D

I use a different definition for lightworker, more like what Steve Pavlina uses. In fact I haven’t yet pinned down a definition for it and sorted through all my (occasionally conflicting) feelings on the matter but the word resonates with some part of me that seems to already know something.

It feels like… lightworker is the person who feels a calling, a desire to do something which heaven has guided them to do, which they feel stronger than even the desire to remain alive.

A person who sees through the illusion enough to know that there are terrible injustices in the world that need to be countered. Not angry (I can be angry, but I work on it) but neither accepting of the “normal” life.

Sort of a mix of awake – another word which seems to be more a feeling than anything you can define – and feeling a powerful calling for the benefit of all. Awake, powerful, and compassionate.

Someone who chooses not to perpetuate the old ways with their actions and attitudes in life, but knows that zero damage is an impossible goal: if he or she is going to be awake to the fact that there is a better way, and is going to face social resistence by choosing to create a new way for him or herself, he or she is going to go all the way and push through the social resistence even further and create something amazing.

Someone who, in line with the callings of his heart, and guided by God, chooses to go beyond.

    Love

    hi Akemi,

Thank you so much. I am truly amazed. I always knew that I came from elsewhere, have never felt at ‘home’ on planet earth (and have traveled far and wide – no matter where I go this feeling persists), and have felt even as a child that my family were all different from me, masquerading as humans but really something else inside. All along it was the other way around, and I am the one who is foreign.

I recently had an etheric implant removed from me and have started to step into my purpose more fully and confidently. I am not sure what my soul origination is but am so happy to read all of your eloquent and clear descriptions and all visitors’ comments – they help me understand the facets of each origin within my personality and within the personalities of those around me.

    Andrew –
the description you just gave is very beautiful. I have encountered many light workers in my travels (and myself practice energy/light work, reiki and teach meditation) and feel your description is very accurate. Thank you.

Will keep reading as I am hooked!
Sending lots of love and light,

    Hi Akemi,

Interesting topics, but I want to ask you something. Do you believe that we have so many planets in our galaxy aside from nine planets? If so, then do you think that all starseeds are came from those planets as well? Are they existed until now? I believe that past souls have lived different planets before they came to earth. (That is all my opinion. hehe… I am not sure if I have psychic abilities yet. ) But I didn’t know that there are terms that called starseeds, etc. It is my first time to hear that.

Walk-in is a one time soul shift, as opposed to ongoing back-and-forth soul shift. Because you are your soul, in the physical form, once the walk in happens, you are the new soul. Don’t think you “lost” your true soul or someone is taking over you. You are your current soul. I know this concept is disturbing to some people, but this is how it is. this statement is very tricky. No soul is native to earth. All are descendent’s from other sources. Secondly so called native souls which are under ascension process were made to sacrifice their body to walkin souls by showing a chocolate like elevating them by 2-3 planes. This is absolutely a tricky process done to innocent souls with high frequency bodies. This original soul can even get ascension in this period if they clever enough. poor souls I really feel pity for this loss. Even now it is not late for those souls who are hanging out of their body because of this walk in process can come back to their body with a strong thought and request to the prime creator.
