I’ve been thinking and writing a lot about Ascension recently because I’m in it and I think it is affecting more and more people. Maybe you are one of those who are experiencing it, and maybe you will soon.
And if you think it is all rosy and fun, just more and more increasing joy . . . well, yes and no. The no comes from my ego that is still hanging around. . . (Photo by Mr. Greenjeans)
What it’s like to just be
So many – the majority – of our motivations are based on fear.
- You work hard because – you love your work? Or because you are afraid of losing your job?
- You save money because – you already have enough? Or because you are afraid of not having money at some time in the future?
- You are with your spouse because – you love him or her? Or because you are afraid of being alone?
- You take care of your health because – you love yourself? Or because you are afraid of being sick?
- You say YES because — you love the idea? Or because you are afraid of being rejected?
The list goes on and on.
And I’m finding it harder and harder to identify with the fear part. It’s not about criticism. I just find it hard to relate. Which leaves me in a strange unfamiliar place of little motivation. It’s good, but feels very weird to be here.
- Work hard? Why? I love my work, so I’m happy to do it, thank you. But at the same time, I have no desire to work long hours. And I don’t need to, either.
- Money? Oh, I have some money. Gratitude. And I know – or at least I guess – I can make money as I go.
- Romance? Yeah, that’s great! (I’m currently not seeing anyone, so this feels more like an expectation than choice.)
- Health? I’m in good health, and I’m grateful.
- . . . faithful readers of this blog know I have no problem saying NO to anyone . . . duh . . .
So being is like being in emptiness. I guess this is a temporary sentiment until my ego completely falls off. For now, I’m grateful I don’t need to push myself for anything. I am. Thank you.
What no past life means to my business
Awhile ago, I was talking with my long-time client of Akashic Record Reading. He had Ascension soul shift, and said something interesting.
“So I got a new soul. Then the reading and clearing I did for my former soul was . . . for what?”
I thought about this. Because if more and more people are getting Ascension soul shift, maybe he is right, we don’t need to heal our energetic issues from past lives. And if that is the case, I’m ready to fold my shop. I don’t know what I’d do next, but I’ll figure it out. I’m not going to do the service that is unnecessary.
Because I have some waiting list, I’ve had to think as I go. And it turns out my business is turning to fit to the new energy pattern of the Earth anyway. More and more clients are those who have had Ascension soul shift. They come to me to understand what the heck have happened to them, and to let their former souls move on.
I’m also learning from my Akashic Record Guides that some energetic issues, such as partial possessions, are best taken care of prior to Ascension soul shift. I’m still not sure if this is the absolute requirement to have Ascension, but at least it is very desirable and promotes Ascension.
So looks like my service is still in need. And I’m reviewing everything I do for potential update. The big picture, the energy of Earth, is changing, so a thorough review of all I’ve been doing and offering is in need.
The glimpse of the New World
I think our current energy pattern is so lopsided due to the fear we have collectively. When we drop these weird illusions and patterns, I think the world will see:
- Close to zero diseases and sickness, and therefore, little need for healthcare and healing (If you are in this industry, be prepared for eventual job loss)
- Extreme change in economic system. The majority of economic transactions will be done either in small local community by cash (think of farmer’s market) or globally through the internet with virtual payment system. Businesses in between, like Wal-Mart, that moves stuffs long distance unnecessarily, would go away. A lot of financial systems that promote credits would follow. (If you are in these industries, be prepared for eventual job loss)
- The majority of “employments” will disappear, and most of us will be working for ourselves, doing what we love and be good at. (If you are out of work, consider yourself to be having a head start. The faster you figure out how to take care of yourself, the better.)
- Fundamental change in marital system. Marriage and traditional family will still be a choice, but only one choice of many options.
Hmm. Sounds good to me. What do you think?
And today I’m grateful for the spring rain, the working computer and phone, my fresh carrot-apple-ginger juice, and cheesecake. (Sounds like the good and the evil of the food world are coexisting with me, huh?)

Hi Akemi – I’m wishing I was having some of that cheesecake and juice. I love carrot and apple juice but I didn’t try it with ginger yet.
Now, I’m beginning to understand what you were going on about the other day, when you said you were just “being”. I’m getting to some places on that list and moving away from fear but I think I still have a long way to go.
I like the idea of the new world in principle. But I’m wondering how the economic system would work, if almost everyone was self-employed. We would need an alternative to money, as nobody would have any. Maybe we’d have to go back to trading stuff.
Zero sickness and disease would also be great but it will be difficult to achieve whilst 80% of the world is still living in extreme poverty. I wonder if that could change if the new economic system you mentioned comes in?
All these changes sound great Akemi but I’m guessing it won’t happen all at once. How long do you think it will take for all these changes to come into place throughout the world? Are we likely to see extreme change in our lifetime?

You’re “The glimpse of the New World” is almost exactly what I’ve been telling my freinds. I’ve talked a lot about the time of micro-business, which now would be a perfect timming.
But, I’ll be the party-pooper. It still feels like utopia. I mostly I think i won’t see all that in my lifetime.
Personally, I will thrive for this kind of living. But I’ll be happy if I see just a hint of a mere beginning of that kind of change.

Hi Cath,
Adding ginger root is very good. One of the potential drawback of raw food diet is that it can be too cooling (yin) especially for women. Ginger is very warming and counteract that issue.
The New World Order, especially the economic part, is still a lot of mystery to me. Or rather, it is something we can create. How do you want the New World to operate? I agree that monetary system may see a drastic change.
I have no idea how long it will take. But you know, time is speeding up, so we may be in for a happy surprise ^_^

Too early in the morning, huh? That is okay.
Interesting that our New World visions happen to be so similar. So maybe there are plenty more people out there who are dreaming of the same.
I think the majority of our day-to-day needs will be met locally. This has a lot of side benefits, too. If you know the product / service provider and they know you, it naturally ensures good service. And the “good” goes far beyond people pleasing — say, if a farmer uses harsh chemicals, and we see dead birds and insects all around his farm, would we want to buy from him? No. We will be naturally conscious of our deeds.

It’s interesting the way you see people evolving beyond needing soul readings (I hope I’ve got that right) – I think in terms of people growing out of their astrology (which is a different thing but maybe is a parallel).
I like your glimpse of the new world! I had health workers losing their jobs in a similar one of mine! I also agree with the way you see “employments”.
I wish you guys would all stop talking about the spring – it’s getting cold here!

I went to sleep thinking about this post … there are so many things I have to say about it.
- About the state of emptiness: nature is attracted to a vacuum, gleeful for the space to refill with ’something new.’ You have made room it seems to me.
- Getting used to the temporary sentiment is such a gentle way to be with things as that ’something new’ fuels your tank so to speak…that’s nice Akemi.
- The question your reader had: “So I got a new soul. Then the reading and clearing I did for my former soul was . . . for what?” I prayed about this as I fell asleep and found an answer waiting just as I drifted over the edge. This is something that is not coming from a conscious mind-thought, rather a guided dictation. Let’s see if I can get it down: This brand new soul that now lives within me is (exactly) like a precious new born child I would nurture if I gave birth to her. I am responsible for caring for this new soul. Precious children need the direction and guidance of loving ‘parents’ … be that for your precious soul. I am the elder here on earth with this ‘new to earth soul.’ The gifts my new soul gives me are unobstructed memories and connects to the Source without Source, as I guide my soul on earth, my soul reconnects me with Source.
Every soul at whatever level of development it is, is essential and valuable.
@ Robin, I appreciate your reference to astrology. Could it be that a person’s chart is a navigational chart that first needs to be understood and then with insight used to best serve the highest good. From there transformation or as you say ‘growing out of their astrology’?
Your views on the future are confirmed in many ways already:
-Health Care and employment within: I agree there will be significant change in the way ‘Health’ and ‘Care’ are defined. With new definitions all systems and beliefs change. Fear-based definitions will open up space like you describe as a ‘temporary sentiment.’ … for something new. Seeking new employment if you’re in the field … seems a good heads up.
-Localize support and resources. Right on! Farmers markets, savings circles and local monetary systems are part of the present and the future. I am a great advocate for growing local savings circles within our communities similar yet different from the systems like KIVA and more like GRANEEN Bank of India.

akemi, what am i missing here?! it was beneficial for your client to get the energetic blocks cleared away from the “old soul,” as this allowed for the “new soul” energy to integrate! and this is just the apparent personal aspect of it. there is also the “oneness” aspect of it where your client was transmuting blockages from his “old soul” for the universe!
new soul energy CAN transmute any energetic block at any time (anything is possible), but it likely will not transmute unless and until it feels “invited” into that “space.”
it’s like this.. you can slip on a banana peel and ascend, but don’t COUNT on slipping on a banana peel and ascending. you need to do your part, which may include various forms of clearing or reaching out to others to help with your clearing or anything else you feel called to do in your deepest integrity. who knows which of these or whether any of these things actually does anything (perhaps it is just the strong intention to expand ?) but whatever is done — even just allowing for the intention to stay alive — it’s all for the greater good…
energetic blocks are created by (and are a form of) mind. mind cannot block ascension permanently, as this will happen to “everyone” eventually, even the most resistant, but it can delay it through creation of fear and energetic blocks and resistance.
your client was right to get the clearings and everything else he did for “himself,” if and only if he had a pure desire to be in “group b” of ascension. apparently, he did… he didn’t want to delay…

I lived in Sydney, Australia for a year, and have been to Melbourne. Love it there. And yeah, I think it was this time of the year when I visited Melbourne. It was cold.
So there are increasing number of people having basically the same vision of the new world, like you. This is interesting and encouraging. It may be closer than we think.

That is a great insight and guidance. I do think there is a reason why this Ascension soul shift happens only to those who grew up to some extent. (There may be exceptions, but so far, all the cases I’ve seen happened to adults.)
I have a lot more to say about the New World and I will write them in future articles. To give you a head up — I think the concept of “exchange” is kind of shabby. I know I’m still in that system, but I intend to grow out of it.

Good to see you here! And thank you for reminding the effect of the individual clearing has on the whole universe. You are totally right, every time we release any amount of negativity, every time we free up light that were trapped in the darkness of energetic issues, we increase the overall light for all to benefit.
