Happy Holidays!
Portland was to have the whitest Christmas in its weather recording history, but now it’s turning to rain. I’m glad, though, as I’ve been snowed in for the last few days. Specifically, I could not go out at all from last Saturday to Monday. This was very hard for an extrovert like myself – I like watching people in the Starbucks. I spent quite some time on Twitter and Facebook.
Then I started talking with my own Spirit Guides extensively. If you want to boost your psychic power, lock up yourself alone for a few days. It gives you focus to tune in to your intuition. My Spirit Guides and I talked about how my business is doing, how we can best grow it for the new year, what value I am to bring to this world, and more. It was interesting.

Gratitude for the every day treasures
As some local areas declared emergency, I can’t help feeling gratitude for all the little things I almost take for granted in the everyday life. Like electricity and running water. Clean safe roads. Fresh produce so readily available at the store. A daily cup of coffee and friendly people around. It takes lots and lots of people to make these things happen, you know.
And I’m grateful for my own good health. Safe warm place to live. Some foods in the fridge.

Awhile ago, I went to body-mind-spirit expo in Portland. There was a vender that takes “aura pictures”, so here is mine.
For the sake of integrity and honesty — I personally don’t think this is aura picture. The way they did it was to have my hands on a special sensor and the computer produced this image. So I guess they interpret the electromagnetic energy or something from my hands and put it into visual image.
It’s pretty anyway. I might use this for my ID ^_^ According to them, the green signifies the healing energy I emit and blue means intelligence — my good thinking capacity. The whitish umbrella is my spiritual power.

Hi Akemi. I had to chuckle when you wrote how being locked up for a few days gave a boost to your psychic power.
We’ve had a ton of snow too. Broken near 40-year old records apparently for cold temperatures. I’m happy to be snowed in but good to know that there is an end in sight. Rain is forecast for Saturday.

Yeah, 40 year record breaking or something.
About the shoes — I haven’t been out for shopping at all! But I got myself a new juicer. I’m not going 100% raw, but I want to experiment with the fresh juice. I’m sure I’ll get the Nike later.
Hi Akemi – I didn’t realise you were having so much snow over there. Like you – I don’t like feeling trapped indoors.
Your aura picture is awesome. I haven’t had an aura reading before. I did get a book which shows you how to learn to read auras a few years ago but I didn’t have the patience to do all the exercises.
Happy Christmas. I woke up with a cold on Christmas Day, so I haven’t been doing much. The day before Christmas Eve we started doing the Silva Life course, so we’re going to carry on with that today – even the kids are doing it.
Ah cool Akemi. I’ve had one done the same way and my aura looked very similar to yours. Switch the green with red and the blue with yellow. The arc over my head is less pronounced than yours, but heavier over the right side as well. Here’s a picture of it.
I’m not sure if it’s actually an aura either, but it’s nevertheless a cool fuddy duddy to play with.
Oh, speaking of spirit guides, I was randomly googling around tonight and found a site that showed you how to communicate with your spirit guides. So I tried it out and found I have one spirit guide. (They say you can have up to seven.)
The feeling I get when I communicate with mine is a feeling I’ve had my whole life, but I didn’t know what it was. It’s like this tingly explosion that enters around the spinal neck area and radiates outward through my whole body. That’s how he says hello.
A ‘yes’ for me feels like energy pouring into my neck and head and my face smiles. A ‘no’ for me feels like the energy drains out of that area and the energy drains from my face as well and it frowns.
I’ve tried actually hearing my spirit guide’s voice, but I haven’t been able to do that yet.
I felt that you’d be a good person to talk to about this since you have a lot of experience in this area.
How well do you hear your spirit guides when you communicate with him/her/them?

Yeah, the guys who took my aura picture were from Yoga studio, too. The computer program was in Korean, so I guess that is where this software was developed.
Your aura picture is so red. I guess you have tons of 1st chakra energy. My people didn’t really say anything about the size of aura — interesting. They did say I need more grounding and that will help me to pass even more energy.
People usually have four to seven spirit guides. Maybe you recognize just your first guide, who has probably been with you ever since you were born. And you are absolutely right that their way of communication is so familiar to you — this is where so many people find it difficult, to tell the difference between their imagination and the real communication from their spirit guides.
You are probably more claircognizant than clairaudient. Which is often the case. My strongest clair is claricognizance, too, and I get some visual and “sound” along with it. For me, it’s not a real sound — it’s like hearing music in your head. It also depends on the spirit guide as well. Some spirit guides like giving detailed info (like, numbered list of things to do!), some likes giving physical sensations, some are more visual and communicate by pictures . . .
Korean yoga. Yep. Was it Dahn Yoga by chance?
Grounding was one of the biggest things I got out of yoga. There were all these fantastical spiritual experiences with energy happening in the upper chakras, and yoga was helping me bring all this energy back to earth, so to speak, and ground myself in my body.
I’d read about soul guides too. Apparently spirit guides are around the level of your soul’s evolution and are with you for only one life. From what I understand, your soul guide is much more evolved than you and are with you for multiple lives.
I tried getting in touch with my soul guide and her presence is very different from my spirit guides. (My soul guide is a she and my spirit guide is a he.) My soul guide’s presence feels very strong and firm. The energy is concentrated up in the top of the head and the feet/shins. It’s more solid and firm than my spirit guides’ tingly energy.
Do you do much work with soul guides as well?

Well, I don’t know. I didn’t follow up because the studio was too far from my place.
When we speak of spirit guides, we usually talk about spirit guides on the inner circle. They work exclusively for you and they may or may not have shared physical lifetimes with you. They are a few steps ahead of you in spiritual development and that is how they serve as your guides.
I’m not sure about soul guides, but this may be a terminology issue. You may be talking about the spirit guides on the outer circle, the chief of guides, specifically.
Now don’t underestimate your spirit guides just because they are not terribly ahead of you. You don’t want super advanced guides. That’s like having Einstein teach high school science. The students won’t learn much from him — they need a teacher who can explain things in their terms.
Occasionally, I come across cases in which my client has developed faster than some of their spirit guides. In such cases, I upgrade their spirit guide team, with their approval, so that all guides are more advanced than the client.
More serious potential problem with spirit guides is that some people have hired negative spirit guides who misguide them. And there are some people who don’t have spirit guides at all. Both cases are something I address in my first Akashic Record Reading.

I think you’re right about the soul guide/outer circle guides too. I’ve read that they work with multiple people simultaneously while spirit guides are with you and only you in this lifetime. Your terminology is a bit simpler to understand.
